False information on Max FM advertisement

Listeners to Max FM will hear an ad that contains false information about a potential property tax increase in Wasaga Beach.
The ad, placed by a private citizen, asks if residents are aware they might receive a 27 percent property tax increase.
There is no risk of such an increase. Suggesting such is irresponsible and misleading.
Wasaga Beach residents deserve trustworthy information about municipal finances.

Beachfront redevelopment moves into next phase

The Town of Wasaga Beach is formally inviting short-listed developers in good standing with the town to submit proposals to develop town land at the main beachfront.
At a special council meeting today, council authorized staff to issue Request for Proposal documents to the developers, short-listed through a Request for Expressions of Interest process last year.

Council and staff working on draft 2021 budget
Mayor Nina Bifolchi provided council and the public an update on the 2021 draft budget process.
